At The Training Works we recognise that training is only one part of staying healthy. If we don't look out for our body when it is telling us it needs help we are only delaying what could end up becoming a lifestyle inhibiting issue.  Our team of highly experienced Physiotherapists, Sports Rehabilitation and Massage Therapists are here to assess and treat the pain you may be experiencing using a range of techniques including massage, manipulation and strapping.

Our treatment focuses on long term recovery, improving strength, helping to restore movement and function to as near normal as possible and relieving the stresses caused by restricted movement.

Some of the common issues that we treat;

  • Sports injuries, strains or sprains

  • Musculoskeletal concerns such as neck, knee, back and ankle pain

  • Headaches

  • Post Surgery or Fracture Rehabilitation

  • Pre and post natal concerns

What to expect from your session.

 

All sessions are 45 minutes.  

We will discuss your pain issues and concerns, carry out assessments to establish root cause and develop the best treatment plan to get you back to health.

Your posture and how you move under guidance will tell us a lot about what is causing the issue so please bring a pair shorts and wear loose comfortable clothing that can be rolled up easily. 

Follow up could be anything from 2 to 6 sessions with incremental improvements being made each time.

Our techniques are hands on and can often be firm with pressure applied to your muscles and joints. 

We look at your range of movement and work out what is moving well and what may be causing pain and restriction.

INSURANCE REFERRALS

TW accepts most major insurance companies. Such as BUPA, AXA PPP, Cigna and many more.

Prior to making an appointment at TW you will need to obtain an authorisation number that we will use to claim directly from your insurance company, you may be liable to pay upfront if you do not have your authorisation number. It is worth noting that many policies require an annual excess to be paid which may mean that you have to finance part of the cost yourself.

OUR FACILITIES

TW has two consulting rooms for assessment and treatment in full privacy.

With access to a full suite of training equipment we offer gait analysis and can tailor strengthening exercises where relevant to your treatment plan.

To complement our services and further improve your health and well-being we may also recommend our Personal Trainers, Yoga or Pilates classes
